Sustainable chef for a daytime job
For Kafeteria, the café at SMK and part of Frederik Bille Brahe’s sustainable universe, we are looking for a committed chef with the possibility to become sous chef. You will be part of a small, young and strong team of both cchefs and bakers, where the main language is English.
In addition to the daily operation of the cafe, large and small events are also held, where Kafeteria is responsible for the entire catering part. It can be receptions, conferences with meeting packages, vernissages and dinners for 30 and up to 800 people.
Our kitchen mainly works with organic and seasonal ingredients, and the menu is simple and changes according to the season. There is plenty of possibilities to create your own dishes, as we thrive best in an open and honest kitchen, where the daily dialogue is essential.
The working hours are primarily between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Tuesday to Sunday, which can be easily adapted to a family’s everyday life. There may be evening shifts for events – in average 2-3 times a month, which we expect you to participate in.
