Roberta’s Society is more than just a place to stay, it wants to establish itself as a gathering ground for locals too. Blending high-end comfort with accessible pricing, it serves as a hub for art, culture, creativity, and community.

Roberta’s Society was created for travellers aged 18 to 50 who seek not only stylish and cozy stays but also spaces that feel alive. Business travellers, tourists, and students alike, including those who stay longer term.

We are now looking for an exceptional Housekeeping Manager—someone with passion, precision, and leadership—to elevate our housekeeping function to match the vision and standards of Roberta’s Society. Employment Type: Full-time

    Start Date: Immediate

    Job Description:

You will lead our housekeeping team in delivering flawless standards of cleanliness and guest comfort, while helping to nurture an atmosphere of warmth, creativity, and belonging. Managing a team of 8–12 housekeepers, you will ensure that every guest walk-in is greeted with impeccable spaces, every corner of the hostel feels well cared for, and that the brand’s aesthetic and community ethos continue to shine through in all housekeeping operations.

Desired Candidate Profile / What Sets You Apart:

    • Proven leadership in a boutique, design-led, or high quality/aspirational hotel/hostel environment, where detail, guest satisfaction, and aesthetics mattered as much as operating efficiency

    • Strong communicator, with ability to inspire and coach your team, develop talent, and foster a culture of care, respect, and mutual support

    • Deep sense of ownership with great eye for detail—rooms, public spaces, textiles, surfaces, scent, lighting, presentation

    • Creative problem solving when guest expectations shifted, or when small touches made big differences

    • Strong organisational and procedure skills to help create efficient systems for linen, supplies, inventory, scheduling, standards, inspections

    • Experience with health, safety, and sustainability practices.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the daily housekeeping operations and directly manage a team of 8–12 housekeepers, ensuring every guest room and public area reflects Roberta’s Society’s high standard of design, cleanliness and comfort

    • Build, manage, train and motivate the team, setting clear standards, feedback loops, and opportunities for growth

    • Maintain and refine processes for cleaning, linen handling, supply procurement, stock control, uniform care, and inventory management

    • Carry out regular inspections and immediately resolve any shortfalls. FOcus both on function and guest perception

    • Drive sustainability and environmental best practices in housekeeping (waste reduction, responsible product choices, energy usage etc.)

    • Work closely with design, maintenance, operations, and guest services teams to ensure seamless standards across the property; handle guest feedback related to cleanliness swiftly and kindly

    • Manage budget responsibility for housekeeping: supplies, staffing and maintenance

What We Offer / Why Join Us:

    • A chance to strengthen and shape a brand that has already established itself as a cultural hub in Aarhus

    • The opportunity to manage, develop, and lead a core team of 8–12 dedicated housekeepers in a collaborative, supportive environment

    • A workplace where your impact is visible: small touches matter; guest feedback & reputation depend directly on your work

    • A creative, collaborative team in a property that mixes art, culture, and activities. You’re not just managing rooms, but contributing to a living atmosphere

    • Competitive compensation and benefits aligned with leading hotels in Aarhus.
