1 Hotel Copenhagen is centrally located at the intersection of the city’s vibrant Latin Quarter and its historic heart; it will feature 282 rooms including 30 suites. With a Green-Michelin-starred Chef at the helm, the property will also feature locally sourced, seasonal cuisine as eclectic as the city itself at the signature restaurant and bar. Guests and locals alike can find tranquility in the nature-inspired Bamford Wellness Spa, connected with the natural world in the property’s urban garden complete an on-site bee hotel, or embark on an adventure, exploring Copenhagen’s rich tapestry of parks and museums on bike.
As a Chef, You’re passionate about creating high-quality food and take pride in every dish that leaves your section. You work well under the guidance of senior chefs and understand the importance of timing, presentation, and consistency. You’re familiar with working across different areas like the restaurant, in-room dining, bar, and banqueting, and you’re confident following recipes, maintaining stock, and keeping your section running smoothly. Hygiene, teamwork, and professionalism are second nature to you in a busy kitchen environment.
About you…
Experience with preparing and presenting food to high hotel standards, ensuring quality and consistency.
Experience within a luxury hotel is a great asset.
Cooking dishes as directed by the Chef de Cuisine or Sous Chefs and presenting them on time.
Understanding all menus across restaurant, bar, room service, and banqueting areas.
Adhering to all Danish food health & safety standards.
Monitoring and maintaining proper stock levels and reporting any irregularities.
Following correct storage procedures and assisting with stock rotation
Helping train junior team members on your section when needed.
Attending briefings and training sessions as required by kitchen leadership.
Following the staff rota and carrying out any reasonable tasks as assigned by senior chefs.
Flexibility to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
