Department Managers for RØRT KBH
RØRT is a modern smørrebrød chain experiencing rapid growth. We are currently looking for strong and experienced leaders for two departments: 1) a new restaurant located centrally in Copenhagen and 2) our street food operations.
Both roles share many of the same responsibilities and require similar leadership skills. These are versatile positions where you will have the opportunity to leave your mark and help shape the continued development of RØRT.
The Job:
In close cooperation with the management team, you will help lead and develop our growing team. Depending on the position, you will be responsible for either our restaurant location or our street food operations.
You will be in charge of shift scheduling and will gradually become the direct manager of your team.
Based on your experience—perhaps from another restaurant, a fast food chain or street food ventures —you will lead by example, build robust processes and systems that consistently ensure high quality in both product and service.
We expect that your primary focus will be on the floor, with approximately 20% of your time spent on administrative tasks.

You have a strong sense of structure and enjoy implementing systems and standards, while also being comfortable in environments that can sometimes be fast-paced, dynamic, and unpredictable—especially within street food and restaurant settings.
We prefer that you have management experience from similar roles in established food or restaurant concepts.

RØRT makes smørrebrød, but we are anything but traditional. Forget tall, heavily layered presentations—expect rustic, informal servings on toasted bread that you can easily grab and enjoy. Our core focus is our freshly mixed, light spreads and salads, where we use less mayonnaise and more vegetables.
