Event Host (Zero-Hour)

Roberta’s Society is a high-end, low-key hostel and culture house in the heart of Aarhus. We bring locals and travellers together through food, culture and shared experiences. From fællesspisning and live music to talks, workshops and community events, our events are a key part of what makes Roberta’s Society special.

We are now looking for warm, confident and reliable Event Hosts to join our team on a zero-hour basis.

The role

As an Event Host, you are the face of the event. You create a welcoming atmosphere, guide guests through the experience and ensure that everyone feels included, comfortable and engaged. You will host a wide range of events, including fællesspisning evenings, and work closely with the kitchen, bar and events team to ensure smooth execution.

Your responsibilities include

Hosting and leading fællesspisning and other events

Welcoming guests and explaining the event concept and flow

Creating a social, inclusive and relaxed atmosphere

Coordinating timing and communication with the kitchen and bar

Light practical tasks before, during and after events

Set-up and cleaning of event areas

Representing Roberta’s Society in a professional, warm and friendly way

Shifts are typically in the afternoon & evening on weekdays and weekends.

Who we are looking for

You are confident speaking in front of groups

You are social, outgoing and naturally welcoming

You enjoy bringing people together and setting the tone in a room

You are reliable, responsible and flexible with working hours

Experience in hospitality, bar work, events or hosting is a plus, but not required

You speak good English and Danish
