Roberta’s Society is a new hostel that opened in Aarhus in June 2025 as a part of the family-owned Kølpin Hotels. The concept is a cultural house combining affordability with design, community, and experience. The hostel welcomes a diverse mix of leisure and business guests, students as well as long-stay visitors who value a vibrant, cosy, and community-driven environment.

Roberta’s Society is looking for a skilled and motivated Lobby Bar Supervisor to lead and support the daily operations of the lobby bar while also assisting with reception tasks. This role is ideal for someone with strong bar experience who values excellent guest service, team leadership, and a smooth, professional operation.

Job Title: Lobby Bar Supervisor

Location: Roberta’s Society – Møllegade 3A, 8000 Aarhus

Employment Type: Full-time

Start Date: January/start of February 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the team, ensuring consistent service quality and a welcoming atmosphere


• Supervise and work alongside the team in daily bar operations, including drinks service and barista duties


• Train, mentor, and guide team members to maintain service standards


• Assist with reception tasks, including reservations and guest inquiries


• Maintain clear communication with other hostel departments


• Contribute to the development and implementation of standard operating procedures

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, with strong background in bartending and bar supervision


• Previous experience in leadership role


• Bartender & Barista experience


• Knowledge of INFOR HMS and Trivec systems is a plus


• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and remain calm under pressure


• Strong communication skills and ability to work in an international team


• Fluent in English; Danish is an advantage


• Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends, with shifts between 07:00–23:00
