Service Chef Wanted for Cultural Hub and Hostel in Aarhus C

Part-time, 15–20 hours per week

Roberta’s Society is a laid-back hostel and cultural hub in the heart of Aarhus. We bring locals and travelers together through food, culture, and shared experiences.

We are looking for a service-minded Service Chef who thrives in a lively kitchen and has a strong focus on quality and teamwork.

About the position:

As a Service Chef at Roberta’s Society, you will be part of the kitchen team and help prepare and serve food across the menu, with a particular focus on dinner service and communal dining. You contribute to a well-functioning kitchen with good flow, high quality, and a relaxed, inclusive atmosphere.

In this role, you will work closely with both the kitchen and front-of-house teams, support daily operations, and help ensure that food is a natural and integrated part of the overall experience at Roberta’s Society.

Your responsibilities:

• Assist in organising, preparing, and serving food across the menu, with a primary focus on dinner service


• Contribute to a well-functioning, fun, and relaxed team


• Monitor and record food waste


• Assist with dishwashing when needed


• Ensure thorough kitchen cleaning after every shift


• Correct labelling of food, including allergens


• Prepare prep lists for the following day and assist with food ordering together with the manager


• Maintain control over portioning and food presentation

Shifts vary from Tuesday to Saturday, with evening shifts until 10:00 PM.

We imagine that you:

• Has experience from a restaurant, hotel, or similar environment.

Practical information:

• Employment type: Part-time, 15–20 hours per week


• Start date: As soon as possible


• Working hours: Varying shifts, Tuesday–Saturday, evening shifts until 10:00 PM
