Are you up for leading our kitchen at Hot Pot Republic?

We are looking for a structured and innovative Head Chef to create and ensure standards, structure and organization of the kitchen. You have enough experience with both a la carte and more industrial production to understand the necessities when building the foundation we lay to enable strong growth. You get excited about the development and implementation of new ideas.

About You

• Responsible, independent and a natural leader


• Knowledgeable and passionate about Asian cuisine(maybe even Sichuan) and the latest food trends


• You are a trained chef with experience as Head chef from busy working environment


• Have a systematic and structured approach to work


• Open minded, adaptable and embracing change


• Good collaboration skills


• You have the patient of coaching and helping the junior colleagues.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and implement standard operational procedures


• Train, develop and motivate our kitchen staff to produce high quality food efficiently and consistently according to the standards you yourself will help put in place


• Ensuring daily operations including ordering groceries, prepping, producing, plating up, cleaning, shift schedule etc.


• Ensure quality control and hygiene


• Developing our menu according to the concept and in collaboration with the partner

As an industry outsider, Hot Pot Republic brought the popular Asian dining concept-   hot pot in Copenhagen 6 years ago. We challenged the traditional 3 course meal and make hot pot a known concept among foodies. In Hot Pot Republic, we sell not just food, but a unique social dining experience.

Having been around for 6 years, we’ve become a go-to spot in Vesterbro. Our kitchen is all about Chinese Sichuan cuisine, giving it a modern spin with fresh stuff from local suppliers. People love our tasty dishes and top-notch service, and we’ve also earned props from big names like Politiken, Berlingske, and Brøsen.

We are a small team with 10+ passionate and professionals from around the world. We roll like a family, and we always have a lot of fun at work!. We are located  in the beautiful center of Vesterbro, Copenhagen.
